Ching-Cheng holds a Master's degree in Theatre from the University of Exeter, UK, and a Bachelor's degree in Dance from Taipei National University of the Arts.

She started out as a dancer and then moved into theatre, specializing in interdisciplinary choreography, directing and teaching in the performing arts. Ching has worked with The Generating Circus Company, Needlefoot Dance Theatre and Sinman Dance Company in the UK. Otherwise, she has worked and performed with a wide range of the famous choreographers and directors in the world, including Phillip Zarrilli (UK), Maia Natalie Knispel (USA) and Nihaarika Nigi (India). In recent years, she has collaborated with the Ju Percussion Group, the Dark Eyes Performance Lab, the C-Camerata Taipei and the E-DA Theme Park, working as a choreographer and director. Her work has been presented at international arts festivals, including the Prague International Theatre Festival, the Seoul Arts Festival and the Daegu Arts Festival in South Korea, as well as the Fukuoka Itoshima Art Festival in Japan. In 2025, she was selected for the American Dance Festival International Choreographers Residency Program, which is funded and supported by the Ministry of Culture in Taiwan.
 

She has taught in theatrical design and technology at Taipei National University of the Arts and the other performing arts universities in Taiwan. Ching has been invited to teach movement theatre workshop at the Seoul Children’s Art Festival in Korea, New Era University College in Kuala Lumpur and the Penang Arts Festival.
